New I Am Cait Promo: Caitlyn Jenner Bonds With Family, Rides a Motorcycle & Reveals Why She’s Doing Her Own Series: Watch!
Manila, Philippines – Caitlyn Jenner could not be having a better time being the person she was always meant to be.
The journey continues in the latest sneak peek at I Am Cait, an eight-part docu-series premiering July 28 on E!Philippines that chronicles Jenner’s adjustment to living publicly as a transgender woman — “the new normal” as she has so astutely called it.
“Why did I decide to do a series?” Caitlyn, shown in several never-before-seen outfits, muses in this new clip. “I am telling my story…This is about getting to be who you really are.”
“We’re going to talk about everything,” she promises. “We’re going to do a lot of fun things for the first time. We’re going to go shopping for the first time. Maybe even some boy stuff, like ride a motorcycle—because girls do that, too!”
But funny enough, this new life has included plenty of old Kardashian-Jenner family traditions as well. Caitlyn spent Father’s Day off-roading and enjoying the company of kids and grandkids, the lot of whom reportedly gifted her with new clothes and shoes to add to her (if she’s anything like her daughters) ever-expanding wardrobe.
Kris Jenner, while not on hand for any celebrating, broke her silence on Caitlyn’s historic Vanity Fair cover, just this week from Cannes:
“I think it’s amazing,” she told Extra. “I think that someone following their dream is truly inspirational to a lot of people. You have to do what makes you happy.”
That does appear to be the consensus.
And while we haven’t seen her all glammed up since her VF spread, Caitlyn is scheduled to accept the Arthur Ashe Courage Award at the 2015 ESPY Awards, her first red carpet event, on July 15. Surely that will be a night to remember.
